Job Description
Sundus is hiring a Section Manager for Compensation & Benefits and Employee Relations based in Abu Dhabi. This mid-senior full-time position oversees core reward structures, employee relations frameworks, and organizational development initiatives. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources / HR Director, the role collaborates closely with Finance and departmental leaders on budgeting, workforce cost modeling, reporting, and strategic HR projects while ensuring strict alignment with UAE labour laws and company objectives.
Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and refine competitive compensation, incentive, and benefits strategies through continuous market benchmarking.
• Oversee annual salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, allowances, and payroll cost optimization analyses.
• Direct employee relations, offering expert guidance on disciplinary matters, grievances, workplace investigations, and UAE Labour Law compliance.
• Facilitate organizational restructuring, manpower planning, change management, and succession planning programs.
• Lead job evaluations and manage corporate grading structures, salary bands, and job descriptions.
• Establish, update, and implement comprehensive HR policies and standard operating procedures.
• Deliver HR financial analytics, workforce budgeting forecasts, dashboards, and KPI reports utilizing advanced Excel modeling.
• Guide, mentor, and build HR team capabilities while advising senior leadership on strategic workforce matters.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline (Master's/MBA preferred).
• Professional HR credential (such as CIPD, SHRM, HRCI, GRP, or CCP) is an advantage.
• 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience, including 4 to 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Substantial background across Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Organizational Development, Job Evaluation/Grading, and HR policy management.
• UAE Government or Semi-Government sector experience is highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, financial modeling, and dashboard creation).
