Job Description
The role is a customer‑focused Sales Executive for Marine Engines, responsible for driving sales growth across marine engines, outboard motors, propulsion systems, and related marine products within a designated territory.
Responsibilities
• Achieve and exceed sales and marketing targets for the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute business plans that support the division’s annual growth objectives.
• Identify new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals that meet customer requirements.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key accounts, boat builders, and marine industry stakeholders.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Work closely with internal teams to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to increasing team knowledge and awareness by sharing market intelligence and product expertise.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging marine technologies.
• Travel across the Gulf Cooperation Council region as required to support regional marine operations and business development activities.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, outboard motors, propulsion systems, and marine applications.
• Excellent technical understanding of boats and marine products.
• Strong business development, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
Qualification
• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of marine engines, outboard motors, or marine propulsion systems.
• At least 2 years of sales experience within the Gulf Cooperation Council region.
• Strong technical knowledge of marine products, boats, inboard engines, and outboard engines.
• Experience working with commercial customers, boat builders, or marine operators.
• Valid Gulf Cooperation Council driving license.
