ICT Teacher

The role involves delivering the curriculum with up-to-date knowledge, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining accurate records of attendance, resources, and assessments. The teacher must adhere to GEMS policies, support student well‑being, and contribute to co‑curricular activities and school events.

• Deliver the required curriculum with accurate and current subject knowledge. • Plan and deliver quality lessons that motivate students and cater to diverse learning styles. • Provide written evidence of planning and preparation. • Maintain records of curriculum, year plans, attendance, resources, and assessment. • Follow GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct. • Teach students according to individual needs using appropriate strategies. • Set, mark, assess, record, and report on student progress. • Use media and technology effectively in the classroom. • Promote student progress and well‑being, offering guidance on educational matters. • Lead or participate in co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes. • Assist in planning and organising school events and functions.

• Regular Bachelor’s degree in Computer/IT. • Knowledge of the latest technologies. • Strong subject knowledge and commitment to teaching. • Excellent communication skills. • Two years’ teaching experience in a relevant subject.
