History Teacher

GEMS Metropole School - Motor City is seeking an outstanding History Teacher to join its team in August 2026. Located in Dubai, the school places sustainability at the heart of education. • Teach History at GCSE and A-Level or equivalent levels. • Deliver engaging, enquiry-based learning experiences that inspire students. • Promote critical thinking and develop students' understanding of History and Humanities. • Support students in achieving strong academic outcomes. • Share outstanding teaching and learning practices with colleagues. • Contribute to the development of global citizenship and sustainable values through History and Humanities. • Maintain a creative and enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom. • Build positive professional relationships with students and parents. • Use IT effectively to support teaching and learning. • Contribute to the wider life and professional culture of the school. • Participate in professional development and continuous improvement opportunities.

A B.Ed or subject-related degree in History and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent, proven qualified experience of teaching GCSE and A-Level History (or equivalent).
