General Repair Technician - Electric Vehicle

Join BYD and Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility as a General Repair Technician, where you will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles, ensuring high quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on BYD vehicles • Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines • Ensure Fix It Right and First-Time-Right repair standards are achieved • Conduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting • Follow workshop safety, quality, and 5S standards • Meet productivity and utilization targets • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issues • Maintain a clean and professional workshop environment

• Strong technical and mechanical skills • Experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle repairs • Good understanding of automotive systems and repair processes • Strong problem‑solving and attention to detail • Ability to follow workshop manuals and service procedures • Good communication skills in English • Passion for learning new technologies and EV systems

• Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification • 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive, Diagnostic, or General Repair Technician • Experience in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work • EV or hybrid vehicle experience is an advantage • UAE driving license is an advantage
