General Repair Technician

A General Repair Technician will join the Toyota & Lexus team across the UAE, diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles using diagnostic equipment and special service tools. The role focuses on routine maintenance, general mechanic repairs, and ensuring the Fix it Right process is followed to prevent repeat repairs.

• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic repair work on vehicles. • Use diagnostic equipment and special service tools to inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, A/C, electrical and hybrid systems. • Assist the Technical Advisor in capturing data for Repair Support Requests and Branch Field Technical Reports. • Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Controllers, Foremen and co‑technicians in a busy workshop environment.

• 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Diagnostic Technician at a major automotive dealership. • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and special service tools. • Ability to perform basic diagnosis, unit repair, AC parts replacement and mechanical repairs. • Conversant in English.

• Diploma in Technical Certification, ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate) or ITC. • Valid UAE driving licence is an added value.
