Business Studies Teacher

GEMS Westminster School – Ras Al Khaimah seeks a qualified Business Studies Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including IGCSE/GCSE and A‑Level, while fostering analytical and critical‑thinking skills in students.

Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies and Economics lessons; teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5; prepare students for external examinations; use real‑world case studies; design formative and summative assessments; monitor progress and provide feedback; maintain accurate performance records; contribute to curriculum development; support extracurricular activities such as business clubs and enterprise competitions; participate in school events and enrichment activities; contribute to departmental and whole‑school initiatives; maintain effective classroom management; engage in professional development and peer observation.

Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent; experience teaching the British Curriculum; experience with IGCSE/GCSE and A‑Level preferred; strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics; strong classroom‑management and organisational skills; ability to promote analytical and critical thinking; commitment to continuous professional development; collaborative approach to teaching and wider school life.

PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent
